What happens after I register my tree?
After registering your tree, your name will be added to our list of Program Supporters here. Please allow up to 48 hours for your name to appear on this list.
What type of tree is being planted?
We are planting Longleaf pine trees, which are currently endangered.
Where is my tree being planted?
Currently, We are planting Longleaf Pine trees where thousands of acres of timber were destroyed by Hurricane Michael (2018) in Florida’s Econfina Creek and Chipola River watersheds. These new trees will help restore native groundcover to the area. As more and more trees are planted, there may no longer be a need for new trees in this region, so they will be planted elsewhere. This page will be updated periodically to reflect changes in tree-planting locations. Learn more here.
